    JOB SUMMARY                 

    Provides design solutions and project management for a variety of project types and sizes. Also provides the design leadership of junior support staff while working collaboratively with the design architect. Provides direct client liaison for the project. Monitors and manages project production budgets. Provides project billing assistance to the firm accountant.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • ·         Conducts programming efforts such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, lighting and color coordination.
    • ·         Develops innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe and conducive to intended purposes and function which is reflective of client goals and within project budget.
    • ·         Implements all phases of a design project which includes contracts, budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, documentation, specifications and construction.
    • ·         Leads the Construction Administration phase responding to RFI’s, CO’s, reviewing shop drawings and involved in the field site reviews.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS             

    Generally requires 10+ years of experience in Architecture. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered Architect in the State of Florida.

    ·         Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.·         Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop.·         Proficiency in Revit is preferred.·         Knowledge of 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Viz 2006.·         Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software.
