    Strong conceptual design and technical skills, capable of exploring innovative approaches in an interdisciplinary environment and the ability to make a significant contribution to the development of a productive, collaborative idea- based design studio culture. We are looking for someone with in developing high quality design work and process and experience progress with varying amounts of direction from Project Architect. The successful candidate will also have confidence in interfacing with clients, making presentations, working in collaboration with other disciplines.


    • Graduate Architect or student working on an architecture degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Portfolio demonstrating built work and significant role (Specific building/project type experience not required).
    • Ability to discuss, develop and communicate ideas with verbal and graphic clarity. Demonstration of previous design process experience which includes wide range of tools used to communicate and explore ideas including: drawing/sketching, model building, diagramming, 3-D work.
    • Ability to develop and articulate design narrative in written form.
    • Previous experience working in team-based studio setting.
    • Adequate technical experience to develop construction documents from a conceptual, schematic and design development framework for building systems, cores, site plan, etc. and understanding of Building Codes applicable to the region, working knowledge of UBC and International Building Code.
    • Involvement in design community, academic interface, intellectual discourse surrounding design and architecture.


    Proficiency with REVIT, Adobe Suite, Sketchup. Other advanced visualization software desirable 3DS Max, Rhino, Grasshopper.
